Installing the drivers: - unzip the driver package. click in BLE112D - when computer ask for drivers choose to give driver location manually and when requested location of the drivers select the folder where you unzipped the files. Alternatively you can unzip the files and then right click on both INF files and select 'install' from from menu.

tokenME represents the latest generation of PKI token implemented by Bit4id. - Drivers for the ch340 IC has now been installed successfully. I have tested this drivers and installation process in Windows XP, windows 7. Will test is soon on Windows 8 & windows 10. You can see in above image that Port Number 19 has been allocated to this IC. If you want you can even change the virtual com port number from Device Manager.

tokenME is able to generate and safely store the private key/certificates by keeping such sensible data within a secure smart card chip. In order to be able to use the certificates, for both authentication and/or digital signature, the user must own the tokenME and know its PIN (two factors authentication – something I have + something I know). It is quite understandable how higher is the security reached if compared to the simple use of a password as security mean.
